Longines FEI Jumping European Championship A Coruña 2025

With a history dating back to 1957, when it was first held in Rotterdam, the European Jumping Championship has become a global benchmark, taking place every two years, in the intermediate years between the Olympic Games and the World Equestrian Games. From July 16 to 20, 2025, Casas Novas Equestrian Center in Arteixo (A Coruña), located in the beautiful region of Galicia in northwestern Spain, was the host venue for the Championship.

The 2025 edition brought together the world’s best riders and horses in thrilling individual and team competitions, vying for gold, silver, and bronze medals in a unique setting, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the founding of Casas Novas Equestrian Center.

In a land that combines the natural splendor of its green landscapes, its Atlantic-bathed coastline, and its mountains, Galicia is famous for its hospitality. The beauty of its villages and its Celtic heritage, the region’s maritime and rural tradition, and its wide range of cultural and gastronomic offerings reflect its unique and distinctive identity. Equestrian culture and sporting excellence in an incomparable setting.

The winners of the 2025 edition delivered a top-level sporting spectacle and thrilled all attendees with their flawless performances.

In the team competition, the winning countries were:

  • Belgium, gold medal
  • Great Britain, silver medal
  • Germany, bronze medal

And in the individual competition, medals were awarded to the following riders:

  • Richard Vogel (Germany), gold medal
  • Scott Brash (Great Britain), silver medal
  • Gilles Thomas (Belgium), bronze medal
